Test Results
This page collects 3 independent VSWR tests of the LILYGO T-Echo Stock Antenna, measured firsthand by the Mesh community (K1PDX, KG5HZC). Every nanoVNA sweep is charted below and downloadable as a Touchstone (.s1p) file. Best measured VSWR is 3.34:1.
Test #1
VSWR Measurements
902MHz
VSWR: 3.907:1
915MHz
VSWR: 3.677:1
928MHz
VSWR: 3.343:1
Notes from test
Included with LILYGO T-Echo board. Exhibits high VSWR across the ISM band, indicating poor performance. Antenna replacement is recommended for improved range and efficiency.

Test #2
Configuration
VSWR Measurements
902MHz
VSWR: 14.739:1
915MHz
VSWR: 13.664:1
928MHz
VSWR: 13.420:1
Resonant point: VSWR 11.523:1 at 946 MHz (101 points measured).
Notes from test
Swept 890-950 MHz with no ground plane, as the antenna ships on the handheld T-Echo. VSWR sits around 13-14:1 across the ISM band and never dips below ~11:1, confirming a severe mismatch.

Test #3
Configuration
VSWR Measurements
902MHz
VSWR: 7.392:1
915MHz
VSWR: 6.551:1
928MHz
VSWR: 6.072:1
Resonant point: VSWR 5.074:1 at 949 MHz (101 points measured).
Notes from test
Match improves when held in hand but still absolutely terrible.
